You take your medicine where you can

After yesterday’s unpleasant surprises, I had a day to pamper myself (and and our friend ). We’d had our tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo show for over six months, as part of ‘s birthday present. They were awesome tickets, in the second row — we’d never been so close to a Cirque show. It’s glorious to see (though we all agreed that our favourite show so far was Varekai.

Edmund had made delicious Moroccan chicken for dinner, then we decided to go see the late show of The Forbidden Kingdom. It was fun and well choreographed, we had a good evening.

On Monday I can start my job search, but for now it’s a good thing to unwind. I’ve received expressions of support from many wonderful people, thank you all.
