Trick-or-Treater Report, Wet Morning Plans

It was our first Halloween back in Humboldt, and we had lots of trick-or-treaters. This is nice and a big change, because in Seattle our house was very far from the street and our neighbourhood did not have many children, so we never got more than one or two visitors. We got in the habit of going out to parties on that night so we wouldn’t have to hesitate between dashed hopes or hiding guiltily. But last night, we went through 5 or 6 bags of candy.

I also started making buttons for Emerald City Gamefest, they look pretty good. I’m making a couple more now that say “No on Prop 8”, as we’re heading out in the rain for a rally at 10AM.
